How To Apply Pre-Glued (Press on) Lashes: Step-By-Step Guide
Preglued lashes are super easy and beginner friendly. Follow these quick steps to do them yourself!
✅ Quick Steps: Pre-Glued Cluster Lashes
- Prep – Clean your natural lashes, make sure they are free from mascara or oils.
- Pick Up – Use tweezers to lift a cluster from the tray, trying to avoid picking up by the adhesive.
- Place – Position just above your lash line (onto the lashes not the skin), press gently. If you can feel them on your skin as you blink they are too far on your waterline! Move them up just a hair. You shouldn’t feel them as your blink if applied correctly.
- Build – Add clusters from outer to inner corner.
- Blend – Pinch natural lashes + clusters together with tweezers or a lash curler.
- Remove – Peel off gently & return to tray to wear again.
🗒️Some more quick tips to ensuring your lashes last a long time:
• Avoid heavily oil based cleansers and products around the eye area. Oil can break down the adhesive and prevent them from being as sticky. If a situation like this were to happen you can always replace the sticky adhesive with our Sticky Dots or apply the clusters with our Bond & Seal or Lash Glue instead. (Yay! They are still wearable!)
• Avoid applying mascara on the lashes. When wearing our clusters NO mascara is needed.
• Water resistant NOT Waterproof. Our lashes have been able to withstand tears, sweat, showers, and rain… however, we never recommend soaking them for a long time while wearing them to ensure the adhesive stays sticky. A bit of water from swimming, showering, sweating, etc won’t cause them to budge, but after long periods of being in the water they will eventually begin to become less sticky. B.T.W.- (If this happens they can still be reworn again and again by applying a new Sticky Dot to the base of the lash.)
